Unfettered
"Unfettered" is an organic and dynamic piece depicting an escape from confinement. This piece incorporates craftsmansip and fine art. It was created from 5 pieces of cut and carved wood and a piece of glass securely fitted together. There is reverse oil painting on the glass. The wood was sealed with gesso and painted with acrylic and oil paint. Stained oak hanger bars with felt pads float the whale 1 inch off the wall. Created for the "Weathered and Feathered" solo show.
